After some time of reflection, I decided to re-invent myself, or rather re-orient myself and focus my professional career on the world of Social Networks , which I already liked as a hobby, to teach and help others to use them efficiently.

It's a risky plan, considering my age, but it's what I'm most passionate about: dedicating myself to online communication.

Unfortunately, I think that the offer is already saturated and even “spoiled” , but not only by good professionals, but by many “amateurs” who flood and devalue the market with “low cost” services and poor quality. As they say, “those who pay peanuts, hire monkeys”.

We are experiencing a serious crisis in Spain with high unemployment, and many new york realtors email list of us who are looking to find a place in the labour market have opted for the emerging Social Media sector.

But not everyone has the skills, experience or training to adequately carry out the great responsibility that comes with being the voice of companies on social networks and being the voice of customers in their brands.

It is a job largely for “seniors”, in which “juniors” are being employed . I believe, and hope, that with the passage of time the market will settle down and that true professionals in Online Communication will be adequately valued by the companies that need our services.

—Do you think that politics is returning to its origins, when citizens knew their representatives personally?
Hopefully! It is a process that is just beginning, as a reaction of society to the great distance between citizens and politicians, between represented and representatives, that party politics and corruption have caused.

But we still have a long way to go , starting with the citizens themselves, who must be much more demanding with politicians, and continuing with the politicians, who must remember that politics is there to serve the citizens and not their own particular interests.

Society is becoming more and more demanding in terms of the management, efficiency, and honesty of its politicians, and it can more easily access them to hold them accountable. This is what the topic of the influence of social networks on Politics and Tourism 2.0 is all about.

—What Benefit Can We All (Politicians and Citizens) Gain from This New Approach?
If this rapprochement is confirmed, which is incipient and requires much more work, we will have succeeded in returning politics to its true function , the management of the “res publica” by citizens who commit part of their lives to serving their fellow citizens.

Politics should not become a profession, a way of life for a few. The ideal is that citizens have their own profession and dedicate a temporary period of time to politics , without going on forever, and that they remain connected and well in tune with the real problems of the people , of the society they come from and of which they continue to be a part.
