Today, the Pension Fund of Ukraine performs a fairly wide range of functions. We will analyze the role that this institution plays in today's Ukrainian society in this blog.
It so often happens in life that we evaluate the work of a state body or institution, relying only on other people's reviews, our personal impressions, without delving into the essence of the issue. For example, if you ask people on the streets special database of any Ukrainian city what the Pension Fund of Ukraine does, nine out of ten will say: it pays pensions. And they will be right!

Today, the Pension Fund of Ukraine pays pensions to over 10.2 million pensioners, provides housing subsidies and benefits to 1.9 million recipients in the non-heating period and 3.5 million in the heating period, and makes monthly insurance payments to more than 161 thousand victims of industrial accidents and occupational diseases or, in cases provided for by law, to their family members.
