The state has given me nothing. Why should I fulfill my duties to the state?

In the United Kingdom, butter, sugar and bacon were rationed from 1940, and almost all food except bread and vegetables from August 1942. Petrol cards were only abolished in 1950, sugar and sweets in 1953, and meat in July 1954.
In Germany, card distribution (the Imperial Card System) was introduced on September 20, 1939, and included a total of 62 types of cards. In Japan, the card system was only abolished in 1949.
So, in the event of a restriction on external financing, Ukraine will indeed have to switch to a special database mobilization economy. But this will apply to everyone, regardless of their suitability for military service.
I agree that our state is a mess. Corrupt officials, a leaky budget, looted factories, dying villages, bankrupt medicine. How can you fight for such a state?
So don't fight for the state. Fight for your own. For your children, for your elderly parents, for your first teacher. Not all of them will have time to reach the western border if the army cannot stop the Russian invasion (what can happen to them during the occupation - everyone saw the example of Bucha).
Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians went to fight for their own two years ago. Until February 2022, they were just IT specialists, managers, professors, tractor drivers, and mechanics. They are fighting not only for their parents and children, but also for you and me. There are fewer of them, they are getting tired, they already have several wounds each. They need help, they need support, they need reinforcements.
