Cultural differences also permeate recruitment processes. Some countries take completely different approaches to those we are familiar with in Poland. Some try to be universal, but there are always minor differences resulting from local culture.
United States - Employers, fearing discrimination, prefer CVs without photos. What is particularly important in application documents is a description of the duties performed. It should be short but specific. Additional information regarding, among others, your motivations, goals and skills will be discussed at the stage of talks with the recruiter. Great Britain - the contact between the recruiter and the candidate is characterized by an official, professional and cultured tone.
